wherever you are, jason nolen, i still think
about you sometimes: when im rearranging the closet
and have to move my letters shoebox
or i talk about never wanting to live in san francisco
because of the unbikable hills. are you having fun being
a grownup now? do you still love pirates and
are your shoes still a wreck? i bet they arent, and when
i run into you someday - when i see
you, feet first [of course] - i will be positively devastated.

9 egg whites
9 egg yolks
1 1/3 cup confectioners sugar
1 1/2 lemons, juiced
1/2 cup potato flour
1/2 cup matzoh cake meal

beat whites until stiff. beat in confectioners
sugar. beat together yolks and lemon juice.
fold yolk mixture into eggwhites. fold in
potato flour and matzoh meal. pour batter into
an ungreased tube pan and bake at 375 for one hour.
