my new bathrobe is the color of embarrassed cheeks and
certain lillies, fluffy and enticing to the
kittens, who follow me around, batting at the trailing belt,
catching it in their teeth and trying to make off with it.
if i drank champagne, id be having a mimosa right now.

3/4 cup champagne
1/4 cup orange juice

mix and serve chilled, with a soap opera and tiny umbrella.
