it's that time of year again when i am scrambling to compile a manuscript which is the word that real writers use for something that i have not ever created. unfortunately there isn't a single word for what i'll end up with when everything's in one file, when it's all been spell-checked, cut down and punctuated, and in an attempt to be gracious i have ruled out "crap" or anything more crass.
