there are times when a well-written email, however short, however ill-punctuated (the kind that suggests laziness, not ignorance) will win my heart. a conscientious nor; distinction between it's and its; interesting sentence structure, no matter the content. you (you, who won't read this) sent me such an email today -- the first i've heard from you since it happened, and i wondered when i was through reading if you sat back, satisfied, to peruse what you'd said, or simply typed and sent it along full of things for me to misinterpret; so much room for extrapolation.
