I finished my book, I
had another drink and
researched my genealogy while I
waited for my children to come
home from the fireworks. I didna
remind them of the babies in cages
because just yesterday I hauled them up
by their britches to hold signs
at the courthouse. how do you parent
these days, any days, when your children
have too much?
