i have a new place to live that is absolutely
the quaintest little apartment that ever there was and
the happiest life to accompany it:
home and garden telly is part of basic cable again!
little italy is just miraculous, truly. all restoration
shops and cafes with eames chairs like theres no tomorrow.
oh and the pasta! homemade everyday. id forgotten that anyone
but my silly aunties still did all that from scratch.

slices of cooked, cooled polenta
vegetable oil
maple syrup
fresh fruit

cut the polenta into half-inch slices.
lightly oil a nonstick pan with veggie oil
and set it over medium high heat until hot.
add the polenta and fry until warm and
slightly crispy. serve with maple syrup and fresh fruit
and youve got a lovely sunday brunch for two.
