im taking a break from sewing jonahs quilt and
packaging matt wilsons extremely late birthday
present - listening to jonathan richman, who i just saw
twice with belle and sebastian. he is so utterly
fantastic in a peculiar middle-aged new yorker sort of way.
apparently he was the gentleman who sang in that
atrocity of a film, 'theres something about mary.' the
movie that everyone-in-america-but-me loved. actually, i read an
interview with kathleen hanna in index magazine, in which
she expressed some distaste for it. so i guess
that makes two of us, huh?

lately ive had an itch to go to one of those paint
your own pottery places. are they any good?
