the dec. 12th issue of the new yorker details many things, not the least important of which being a glowing review of this book, made by the person who taught me how to mix colors well. always process. green is the hardest, especially seafoam. the last time i saw him he exclaimed, "you have to use process! that's the trick! process magenta, process cyan!" clippings in an envelope to mail to los angeles. a note that just says, "congratulations!" because what else is there, really?
