this morning as i was staring at a computer screen with nothing to do, don't go breakin' my heart playing on a small radio to my left, you were across an ocean quite possibly doing the same thing. you write at night when the baby's asleep. your wife is an early riser.

when i'm frustrated by your obliviousness, i need to remind myself that it's sincerity, not self-importance. you have faith in yourself and no reason to feel otherwise. you're successful in part due to that trait. free exchange excites you because you are not only interested in other people, but proud of your own ideas. humility and self-deprecation are not the same thing, and i'd do well to remember that.
