annie oakley's horse was named target. the idea of a sidekick has always appealed to me. my brothers were built-in for each other, sidekicks from conception. mine was a book or a series thereof, then a boy who stopped needing friends, just god. then a book again, and a husband. did i think i could manufacture my own? grow one in my body, in my image, like chaim to adonai?
